The BACKWOODS BassMaster’s Platinum Spinning GPX Signature Series are superior quality spinning rods. The Platinum Spinning Rods Series have been designed and field tested by the VP/B.A.S.S. Master Angler Gerry Pigeon and built by Master Rod Builder, Ernie Jantzen, our primary rod builder and design consultant. Every Rod is meticulously handcrafted using Rainshadow RX7 High Modulus Graphite High Strain premium one-piece rod blanks. Esthetically designed using Titanium accented components, which includes a Burlwood reel seat with TiCH hood adjusters, Titanium/Zirconium high frame guides and a Gunsmoke aluminum “Counter Balanced” butt cap. Finishes include, U-40 High Build epoxy and quality Winding Thread/Trim Rings.
